ABOUT MY KITS

I thought you might like to know:

  • All components (unless stated otherwise) are new, sourced from a major electronic component distributor

  • Exceptions are the SP0256A-AL2 in MG005 and RTC72421 in MG002, which are both out of production

  • Where I supply used devices they are all tested thoroughly (typically over many hours)

  • I do reuse some packaging materials that components are supplied in, for packing kits.  For example anti-static bags where they are still in good condition.  This helps to keep costs down and reduces environmental impact

CP/M SOFTWARE

C Code (and .COM executables) for CP/M

SPCLOCK.C

Speaking Clock

Uses MG002 RTC and MG005 Speech Synth to speak the time on the hour.  If MG001 display present, will also display the time

SPCLK2.C

Speaking Clock

Like SPCLOCK.C, but instead of MG001, will work with MG013 display

SPEECHFF.C

Speech from text file values

Uses MG005 Speech Synth.  Reads allophone digit files from a simple text file and speaks the words they make

MG013 Demo

Demo program for MG013 Alphanumeric Display.  Enables characters to be typed in, and brightness varied.

LPRINT.C

Parallel Port Printing

Prints a text file using MG014 Parallel Port Interface and Printer

MORSERX.C

Morse Receiver

A program to decode Morse Code received by MG016

MORSETX.C

Morse Transmitter

A program to encode and transmit Morse Code using MG015

BMEDISP.C

MG017 BME Display

A program to display temperature, pressure and humidity from a BME280 using MG017 onto a MG013 display
